We currently have no openings for postdocs. If you have an externally funded postdoc fellowship or are interested in applying for a postdoc fellowship program and working with our group, please contact Eric Eaton.
If you are interested in pursing a PhD in machine learning research at Penn, you should most likely apply to the Computer and Information Science PhD program. Alternatively, you could apply to the Electrical and Systems Engineering PhD program, but most of PhD students in our group are in the Computer and Information Science PhD program.
Since GRASP is an interdisciplinary lab, it doesn’t have a separate PhD program. Instead, all doctoral students in GRASP must be admitted under one of the departmental PhD programs, as listed above.
If you are interested in our research group, please list Eric Eaton as a prospective advisor in your PhD application and statement of purpose. It is not necessary to email us before applying. Additionally, all PhD applications must be submitted using the instructions at the links above. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails about applications to the graduate program or accept application materials submitted via email.
If you are a current undergraduate or Master’s student at the University of Pennsylvania looking for a research project or thesis, please apply to join our research group (Penn login required).
Unfortunately, we do not have anything to do with the undergraduate or Master’s admissions process at the University of Pennsylvania. If you are interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at Penn, please read about the admission process.
The GRASP lab has an internship program for high school students. If you are a high school student interested in working in our lab, please apply to that program. It is not necessary to contact us separately before applying.
